ATTORNEY PROFILE
Operating my office since 1992, it is a small single attorney firm. I am direct and to the point, which is the most honest and truthful way to give advice. I do not sugar coat information nor do I tell you what I think you want to hear. While most legal proceedings are emotional and difficult, my wonderful staff and I strive to set reasonable expectations and provide quality representation. My experience has given me insight to enable me to advise you truthfully and my background allows me to analyze a case from different perspectives, often using a unique approach to resolve your case. I have worked as a prosecutor, defense attorney, and judge. This experience has enabled me to be an aggressive attorney who will not back down. My advice and guidance will help you make the best decisions possible. My early years were as a prosecutor handling mostly felony criminal cases. I opened my law firm in 1992 and incorporated family court along with maintaining a criminal practice. I enjoy a challenge and often see the law as a giant puzzle where my expertise is finding the individual approach for every client.
My work as an attorney and in the courtroom provides great satisfaction. My staff will work with me to help keep you informed and knowledgeable. They do a great job but rest assured, I personally offer quality representation to you. DUI, drug charges, and many other types of criminal defense are part of our practice. I also handle family court cases which include child custody, divorce, alimony, paternity, and child support. Other litigation, such as contract disputes or personal injury, is an area in which we offer assistance.
My husband and I have been married 35 years and we are college sweethearts from our years at Clemson. My law degree was obtained at the University of South Carolina. Greenville has been my home for almost 40 years. Spending time downtown, enjoying our wonderful parks, and celebrating with my family are favorite pastimes. Dog rescue is a passion and when you visit our office, you will usually find one of my many dogs or foster puppy in need.
